5 Axis Milling

We operate 2 Hurco VMX24S 5 axis CNC milling centers which allow us to handle the most complex of jobs. The machines offer 609(x), 508(y) and 609(z) travel with spindle speeds upto 10,000rpm.

Because all of our machines are linked directly to our CAD/CAM department we are able to turn work around quickly, both production and prototype.

5 axis cnc milling is typically requested by our aerospace and formula 1 clients who require more complex sperical surface detail. 5 axis cnc milling offers greater consistency across tighter tolerances, continuous path surface contouring, reduced set ups and higher rates of material removal resulting in shorter production times.

We are able to undertake positioning accuracies of ±5µm with repeatability of ±3µm.
